Covid-19 Update
The shipment backlog from our shut down is pretty much caught up and we are essentially back to business as normal. The only exception is that we are not offering in person pick-up yet. We are also seeing some transit time delays with the shipping companies, especially internationally, so please keep that in mind. Otherwise we are working and ready to serve you.

This ‘’Munitions Grade” item is not up to our normal high standards. Munitions grade items will typically have various bends or twists in the blades, basically rendering them as 2nds quality. These items are still a great choice for collecting and re-enacting and functional pieces will still be functional. Please keep this in mind when ordering.

A pair of matching blades, the Espada y Daga are used in tandem so that the skilled fighter can control the duel at both longer and shorter distances. This two sword combination has its roots from the Spanish conquistadores, who with their swords and parrying daggers left the basis for this Filipino martial art. The term Espada y Daga (Sword and Dagger) are giveaway references to the Spanish origins of this fighting style. Filipinos adapted the Spanish two-blade fighting to their native sword designs, and emphasized hours of drill to master the two blades. They even incorporate arm locking and body takedowns to bring the fighter all options and advantages.

This Philippine-crafted Sword and Dagger pair have sharp blades of 5160/D2 high carbon steel tempered to HRC 58-60. The have simple brass guards and the grips are of carved wood with bands of decorative rattan. A two-in-one carved scabbard with decorative bands of rattan is included.

Please Note: Due to being crafted in a tropical environment with native woods, it is common for these weapons to develop thin, minor cracks in the wood and the scabbard as the woods adjust to our more temperate environment. Cracks in items sent to you will not be harmful to the structural integrity of the item. Also - The decorative rattan wrapping can be brittle and may crack or break.

It is recommended that a light coating of protective oil is used to protect the wood from dryness and cracking.
